Finance Minister Ishad Dar telephoned different political leaders Saturday and briefed them about the agreement that PML-N has reached with PTI over the establishment of a judicial commission to probe alleged vote rigging allegations. The political leaders hailed the agreement saying it will augur well for democracy and development of country.
Those contacted on telephone by Ishaq Dar included Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah, Leader of Opposition in Senate Aitzaz Ahsan, Chairman Senate Raza Rabbani, Jamaat-i-Islami chief Sirajul Haq, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Farooq Sattar, National Party leader Hasil Bazenjo, PPP Senator Rehman Malik and MNA Ghazi Gulab Jamal.
