Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah along with Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Khan Durrani, MNAs, MPAs and high officials on Thursday visited Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto and Bhutto House, Naudero to review the final arrangements in connection with the 7th death anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, to be observed on December 27.
MNA Muhammad Ayaz Soomro, MNA Nazir Ahmed Bughio, MNA Ramesh Lal, MPAs Khursheed Ahmed Junejo, Muhammad Ali Bhutto also accompanied the CM. Syed Qaim Ali Shah also visited the site of reception camps set up by PPP Women Wing and PPP's other sister organisations. Senior PPP leader MPA Khursheed Ahmed Junejo briefed the Chief Minister about the final arrangements to be made at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto.
Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah also directed the officials of divisional, district administrations and Municipal Administration, Ratodero to ensure proper cleanliness of roads leading to Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto and Naudero, facilitate the public and ensure provision of potable water for the visitors. The Sindh Chief Minister said that strict security measures will be taken to maintain law and order situation in Larkana district. He said that lacs of people will come to pay rich tributes to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and other martyrs at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto.
He said that all possible facilities will be provided to them because the name of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto is in the hearts of the people of the country.
He said that drinking water facilities, lighting arrangements, parking areas have been finalised, besides the langar (free food) will be distributed among the people who will participate in the public meeting. Sindh Chief Minister said that a public meeting in connection with 7th death anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto will also be held at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto.
The Co-chairman of PPP, Asif Ali Zardari, party's central leaders and the presidents of all the four provinces and Gilgit-Baltistan will address the public meeting. They will pay homage to their Shaheed leaders who offered great sacrifices of their lives only for the betterment of downtrodden people and restoration of democracy in the country.
Sindh Chief Minister said that the present PPP Government was implementing the vision of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and her policy of political reconciliation. It is need of hour that the democratic system may be strengthened to face the internal and external challenges.
