Deputy Secretary General, Jamaat-i-Islami, Dr Farid Ahmed Piracha, has said the New Year Nights celebrations after the Peshawar tragedy would be the height of callousness. In a statement here on Thursday, he appreciated the Sindh government's ban in that regard, and urged the other provinces to follow suit. The JI central leader said that even otherwise, mixed music and dance parties were in violation of the country's constitution.
