PPP Co-chairman and former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari congratulated the party workers on Wednesday for organising a successful Foundation Day. He was talking to party workers on his visit to PPP Punjab office in Model Town. PPP Punjab President Manzoor Wattoo welcomed him. Zardari said the party workers are precious asset of the party. He said he was happy with the performance of the party in Punjab on the Foundation Day.
He urged the party leadership to extend due respect to the party workers in the province. Speaking on the occasion, Manzoor Wattoo expressed his gratitude for his visit to the party office. He said every member of the party is working hard to strengthen the party in Punjab. He said the PPP would contest whole heartedly and win the upcoming elections. PPP Punjab Secretary General Tanveer Ashraf Kaira was also present on the occasion. Zardari also visited the former governor of Punjab Makhdoom Ahmed Mahmood who arranged a reception in his honour. Zardari will visit Gujranwala city on Thursday (today). The party sources said Zardari would visit all districts of Punjab province.
