The Lahore High Court here on Tuesday admitted a petition for regular hearing challenging raids made by labour inspectors at petrol pumps and filling stations at different places. A petitioner, a filling station's owner said that through a notification issued by Punjab governor labour inspectors had been empowered to conduct raids at petrol and gas filling stations. He said that the labour officers who conducted the raids at filling stations were not technical experts and they were just harassing the owners of stations.
