Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Tuesday directed the district administration to remove containers from all the roads of the capital city except the Constitution Avenue. An official of the Ministry of Interior said that the Interior Minister asked the administration to remove containers placed by district administration in different parts of the city due to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PTI) sit-ins, to reduce problems of motorists.
He said the Interior Minister also directed the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to take effective steps for improvement in the flow of traffic in the federal capital. He also issued instructions to restore all traffic signals in the city. He asked the administration to take special measures to facilitate the residents in performing their daily activities.
