Navy augmenting flood relief operation

Pakistan Navy is augmenting its flood relief operation with additional air and water borne assets to provide all-out assistance to the flood affectees of Chiniot and Jhang. Pakistan Navy Rescue teams; geared up with Seaking & Alouette helicopters, Zulu boats and special divers, have extended the scale of their operation to the areas of Mozah Ghani, Kashi Wala and Mozah Bojra district Jhang.
During the rescue operation, a large number of stranded people have been evacuated and shifted to the safe places. The affectees are also being looked after by providing them food items and necessary medical aid through PN's medical staff. Pakistan Navy is also in process of deploying its additional rescue teams and assets in the upper Sindh to cater likely flood crisis.-PR
