Former President and chief of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) General Pervez Musharraf (Retd.) have paid rich tributes to soldiers of Pakistan Army martyred in the on-going war against terrorism. In a statement issued on Wednesday, Pervez Musharraf said, "I salute Captain Akash Rabbani and all our brave soldiers who have embraced martyrdom while protecting and defending Pakistan."
He said that Pakistan Army was fighting a vicious enemy that had begun to threaten our very existence. "I know the Armed Forces of Pakistan will not relent and will not hesitate to continue laying down their lives to eliminate terrorism and extremism from Pakistan", the former president said and added that he was proud of them and pray for their success.
