A joint team of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) carried out two more successful raids and confiscated two operational illegal gateways exchanges along with supporting equipment and hundreds of SIMs.
According to PTA, two raids were conducted at Mohallah Tuheed town, defense road Sialkot and second in Gujranwala, where two operational illegal gateways exchanges along with supporting equipment and hundreds of SIMs have been confiscated. A culprit running the illegal set-up has been arrested from Sialkot by FIA. PTA has geared up efforts against those involved in grey trafficking. Three raids have been conducted in less than a week at three different cities including Lahore, Gujranwala and Sialkot.-PR
