Eight persons of a family including three women were killed when gunmen barged into a house and opened indiscriminate fire on them on Wednesday. According to police, the deceased were hail from Orakzai Agency and belong to Ali Khel tribe who were recently shifted from Togh Sarey camp to Hangu district. Talking to media persons, DSP Hangu Gul Jamal and SHO Abid Jamal informed that the incident reported at the suburban location of Hangu at Kahi Bakaro Banda.
The armed assailants, they added, entered into the house of Mir Rehman (70) at around 4:00am in the morning and opened indiscriminate firing at the inmates. As a result, Mir Rehman died on the spot along with his wife Taj Meena, daughter Noor Man (30), another daughter Yasmeen Bibi (18), sons, Ahmad Ameen and Khalil Rehman, grand son Mujahid Umer (18) and grand daughter Ghazeena. The police and local volunteers shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital for autopsy. The further investigation is underway.
