After the great success of the first edition of Lifestyle Pakistan Exhibition in 2012; Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) with the support of Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi is organising the second edition of Lifestyle Pakistan titled "AALISHAN PAKISTAN" from 10-14 September, 2014 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
A curtain raiser ceremony, jointly presided over by S.M Muneer, Chief Executive of Trade Development of Pakistan (TDAP), High Commissioner for Pakistan, Abdul Basit and Sidharth Birla, President Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce of Industry (FICCI) was held at FICCI headquarters.
S.M Muneer apprised that over 250 top companies from Pakistan will showcase their high-end products to the distinguished visitors, During the four-day event, besides the exhibition, delegation of high-profile Pakistan businessmen would also be visiting India to explore bilateral trade opportunities in various sectors. He was confident that the event will not only promote trade but also offer a chance for the people to feel and own the highest quality Pakistani products.
He further informed that alongside the exhibition, there will be a 'Pakistan Fashion Show' of leading Pakistani designers where they will show case their latest lines of top-end designer wear. A four-day 'Art Exhibition' will enable the visitors to acquaint themselves with the works of famous Pakistani artistes while a 'Pakistan food court' will serve the best in Pakistani cuisine to visitors.
Speaking on the occasion, Abdul Basit, High Commissioner for Pakistan highlighted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's earnest desire for improving the lives of the people of South Asia through concerted efforts in which trade and commerce could play a vital role. Earlier, Rabiya Javeri Agha, Secretary, TDAP, made a presentation on Pakistan Lifestyle Exhibition.-PR
