The Federal Board of Revenue has discontinued performance allowances (equivalent to 100 percent of basic pay) of 12 officers (Grade 19-20) of Pakistan Customs Service and six officers (Grade-19) of Inland Revenue Service, with immediate effect. In this regard, the FBR has issued two notifications here on Wednesday.
According to the notification, on failure to comply with the instructions circulated Vide circular No 1 bearing C.No 1(4)/M(HRM)/2012 dated 23rd July 2012, and subsequent reminders issued by FBR, Performance Allowances (equivalent to 100 percent of basic pay) admissible to the following officers of Pakistan Customs Service are hereby discontinued with immediate effect: Mrs Riffat A. Hassan Abidi; Juneid Akram; Syed Tanveer Ahmad; Sarfraz Ahmad Warraich; Nasrullah Khan Wazir; Amer Rashid Sheikh; Muhammad Akram Ch; Fayyaz Anwar; Irfan-Ur- Rehman Khan; Sadiqullah Khan; Shafigue Ahmad Latki and Imran Ahmad Chaudhry.
Through another notification, on failure to comply with the instructions circulated Vide circular No 1 bearing C.No 1(4)/M(HRM)/2012 dated 23rd July, 2012, and subsequent reminders issued by FBR dated 13.05.2013, 11.06.2013, 19.07.2013, 12.12.2013, 03.01.2014 and 18.02.2014, performance allowances (equivalent to 100 percent of basic pay) admissible to the following officers of Inland Revenue Service are hereby discontinued with immediate effect as these officers have failed to submit their declaration of assets: Pervez Ismail Memon, Qaiser Mehmood, Muzaffar Ali Soomro, Asif Rasool, Chaudhry Jaffar Nawaz and Dr Abdul Rehman Rind.
