KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 13.108 billion and the number of lots traded 12,930.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 4.888 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.382 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.670 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.434 billion), Silver (PKR 956.573 million), Copper (PKR 601.399 million), Platinum (PKR 471.602 million), DJ (PKR 310.061 million), Natural Gas (PKR 234.114 million) and SP500 (PKR 158.553 million).
In Agriculture Commodities, 8 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 5.688 million were traded.
