KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 12.875 billion and the number of lots traded at 12,625. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.689 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.934 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.614 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.676 billion), DJ (PKR 795.080 million), Silver (PKR 510.720 million), Platinum (PKR 225.219 million), Natural Gas (PKR 209.113 million), SP 500 (PKR 149.354 million), Copper (PKR 43.686 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 26.903 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 2 lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.337 million were traded.
