PESHAWAR: Speaker National Assembly, Asad Qaiser has said that the PTI government will not only complete its five-year term rather will also come into power again.
Addressing a Sui gas inauguration ceremony at Kalabat, district Swabi on Sunday, he said that all former ruling politicians have joined hands against the present government as they have been ousted of power first time in the history of the country.
The Speaker National Assembly said that during last thirty years PPP and PML-N have ruled Sindh and Punjab provinces and several times at federal level and today the country is passing through economic crisis due to the wrong policies of the past rulers.
He said that whatever, he had done was according to law and in larger national interest and will continue it in future too. He said that for time in the history of the country Swabi has been given such important representation and position by the PTI government. He said that PTI after coming into power has given strong representation to Swabi and today Swabiwals are in strong position in government at both federal and provincial level.
Asad Qaiser said that granting such importance and ownership to Swabi is not only attracting rather also federal ministers to visit the district and take join steps for the development of the area.
In his address to the ceremony, Federal Minister for Water and Power, Omar Ayub Khan said that Speaker Asad Qaiser is representing the district and its people in real sense in parliament. He credited the people of Swabi for making correct decision of electing Asad Qaiser from the district.
He said that natural gas provision projects worth Rs.3 billion are in progress in the constituency of Speaker Asad Qaiser, saying such hefty amount had allocated by any legislator in past and attributed it to the hard work, love and struggle of the Speaker Asad Qaiser. He said that work on Rs.1.5 billion gas supply project is also in progress in the constituency of the provincial minister Shahram Khan Tarakai.
Omar Ayub Khan said that Imran Khan is the only Prime Minister that had responded to Indian attack on Balakot in a befitting manner and implemented it within 24 hours through shot downing of two Indian planes.
