Speaker, Info Minister demand judicial inquiry into Naqeeb Ullah’s murder

PESHAWAR: Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Asad Qaiser on Monday demanded judicial inquiry into the brutal killing of Naqeeb Mehsud by the Karachi police.

Addressing a press conference at Assembly Chamber Asad Qaiser said the SSP Rao Anwaar and his police team should be arrested at the earliest. Minister for Information Shah Farman was present on the occasion.

He said that nobody is allowed to take law in his hands. He alleged that Naqeeb Ullah Mehsud was killed in fake encounter.

We condemn the incident and the KP Assembly already passed a condemnation resolution in this regard.

The KP government expressed solidarity with the family of the victim and assured full cooperation to them both in terms of financial and legal assistance.

A delegation of provincial government would soon visit Karachi to meet the relatives of the deceased Naqeeb Ullah Mehsud.

The KP Information Minister Shah Farman alleged that Sindh government was patronizing fake encounters.
