Indian use of chemical weapons against Kashmiris in IoK: AJK President, PM

MUZAFARABAD: President Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Sardar Masood Khan and Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan here Wednesday called upon the UN and world community to take serious note of Indian use of chemical weapons against unarmed Kashmiri people in Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK).

They stressed that Indian continued stubborn policy will put the regional peace in serious danger, saying peace is at stake due to Indian aggressive approach.

Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Raja Farooq Haider Khan called on AJK President Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan at President House here on Wednesday and exchanged views on multiple issues.

Both the leaders discussed various issues pertaining to ongoing overall political situation of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, grave situation of Indian held Kashmir, continued Indian ceasefire violation on LOC, use of chemical weapons by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir against Kashmiri people, arresting of Hurriyet leadership, diplomatic efforts on Kashmir, four mega projects in AJK under CPEC and other developmental projects in Azad Kashmir.

The Prime Minister briefed the AJK President in detail regarding the measures of educational package and steps taken for the welfare and rehabilitation of LoC affected people.

Raja Farooq told President Masood Khan that his government was devising a comprehensive educational package and the schools would be upgraded according to the performance of teachers and maximum role of students.

He said that we are fulfilling the demand of teachers in the schools where necessary.

The Prime Minister AJK said the government will take every possible step towards improvisation of education system and in providing all possible facilities in this regard, saying setting up Model Science College in Rawalakot was under consideration.

Both the leaders expressed deep concern over the continued Indian ceasefire violation on the line of control, state sponsored terrorism in Indian held Kashmir, illegal detention of Hurriyet leadership and use of chemical weapons against civilian population by Occupied forces in held valley.

Both the leaders called upon the UN and world community to take serious note of Indian use of chemical weapons against unarmed Kashmiri people and stressed that Indian continued stubborn policy will put the regional peace in serious danger and said the peace is at stake due to Indian aggressive approach.

PM Raja Farooq said Indian forces are picking the Kashmiri youth from their houses and killing them in fake encounters while terming them militants.

Regarding the four mega projects of CPEC, the PM said that these projects would be completed within the stipulated time.
