Hasan, Afridi special record for Pakistan

Pakistan cricket team is rising high, after it managed to succeed in the recently concluded ICC Champions Trophy.

Pakistan fast bowler, Hasan Ali emerged as the revelation for the Green shirts as he became his side most successful bowler in the tournament, going on to win the prestigious Man of the Series award in the tournament.

In doing so, Ali, who claimed 13 wickets in the tournament became only the second player from Pakistan to receive the Player of the Series award in an ICC tournament.

Pakistan's legendary all rounder Shahid Afridi was the first to do so, as he was awarded the Man of the Series at the inaugural Twenty20 cricket world championship in 2007.

Similar to Hasan Ali, Afridi too grabbed 13 wickets in the 2007 tournament, held in in South Africa.
