Punjab food department is providing flour, maida to the NWFP government on daily basis in line with the agreement reached between governments of the Punjab and NWFP. This was stated by the Director Food Punjab, Waseem Mukhtar while talking to journalists, here on Saturday.
He said that the NWFP government issues indent according to its requirement and in line with the agreement, Punjab releases permits of wheat products. He said that Punjab food department on Friday dispatched 2,250 bags of 84 kilograms each of maida, 5,143 bags of 84 kilograms each fine maida and 99,150 flour bags of 20 kilograms each. He said that 119 bags (84 kilograms) of maida was sent to Hattar while 3,500 flour bags of 20 kilograms each were sent to Galiat areas.
