The Population Welfare Department is going to distribute sewing machines among the deserving women while women folk will be empowered in all sections of society. Punjab Minister for Population Welfare Neelam Jabbar Chaudhry said here on Saturday that women will be empowered and opportunities of employment will be provided to them in government, semi-government and private organisations so that they can play their due role in the development of the country.
