KARACHI: Prominent leaders of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Siraj Qasim Teli and Zubair Motiwala, have hailed the federal budget for the fiscal 2017-18 presented in the National Assembly on Friday by the Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar.
Giving their reactions, they termed the budget as the people friendly.
They were of the view that with this budget, the peoples difficulties would be alleviated and the country's business sector would make headway.
Teli and Motiwala felicitated the federal government for coming up with the budget in which no new tax had been imposed.
Motiwala said that the ratio of taxes has been increased but care has been taken that there is no burden on the people.
`Overall, the federal budget for the fiscal 2017-18 has been good', he further remarked.
