KARACHI: The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$ 20,678.6 million on May 12 2017.
A statement of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) here on Thursday said that the break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under:
i) Foreign reserves held by SBP: US$ 15,895.9 million
ii) Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks: US$ 4,782.7 million
iii) Total liquid foreign reserves: US$ 20,678.6 million.
The SBP statement further pointed out that during the week ending May 12 2017, SBP's reserves decreased by US$ 17 million to US$ 15,896 million.
