KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed lower on Tuesday having 49755.53 points with negative change of 356.14 and volume of 130,390,960 shares.

High and Low were 50304.65 and 49532.02 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 381,346,070 shares with 376 total traded companies out of which 133 were up 228 were down and 15 were unchanged.

CHEMICAL was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 57,955,020 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 46,270,500 shares.

The three top traded companies were Engro Polymer with a volume of 30,920,500 and price per share of 29.32 (0.47), Summit Bank with a volume 29,786,500 of price per share of 4.77 (0.45), Azgard Nine with a volume 28,706,000 of price per share of 14.12 (1.00).

The top three advancers were Rafhan MaizeXD with price per share 7350.00 (150.00), Philip Morris Pak. with price per share of 2700.00 (100.00) and Indus Motor Co share of 1932.88 (92.04).

The top three decliners were Unilever FoodsXD with price per share of 6110.00 (140.00), Wyeth Pak LtdXD price per share of 2471.51 (36.75) and The Searle Co.XDXB share of 667.89 (35.00).
