imageAfter Khalid and Sharjeel, fast bowler Muhammad Irfan likely to be sent back to Pakistan over fixing scandal in Pakistan Super League (PSL), Aaj News reported.

According to reports, on Friday Khalid Latif and Sharjeel Khan from Islamabad United were suspended over same charges. In Pakistan Super League, Muhammad Irfan would be the third player. Belongings of Muahmmad Irfan including his mobile phone would also be seized by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials.

PSL chairman Najam Sethi also took to Twitter to talk about the ongoing controversy and said, "PCB ACU has questioned M Irfan. Inquiry will continue. He does not face any immediate suspension". "PCB ACU will remain vigilant and continue to protect @thePSLt20 from the menace of corruption," he added.

Sources further revealed that names of other players are also surfacing in this regard and investigations are expected to increase by management.
