DUBAI: Pakistan finished the opening day of the second Test at 42-0 after Sri Lanka were dismissed for 239 in the first innings at Dubai cricket Stadium here on Wednesday.

Openers Taufiq Umar (20) and Mohammad Hafeez (18) were unbeaten after Umar Gul and Saeed Ajmal took three wickets apiece for Pakistan.
