ISLAMABAD: The Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has welcomed the recent visit of Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan to Pakistan, saying that it would help enhance trade and business relations between the two countries.
"Turkey to avail huge business and investment opportunity in China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as a number of business delegation also accompanied him for business deals with Pakistan," President FPCCI, Abdul Rauf Alam told APP here on Friday.
He said that Turkey is time tested friend and brotherly country of Pakistan and both sides have history of diplomatic ties rooted in decades.
President FPCCI said that Turkey is emerging economy, "We need economic and trade link for benefiting the business community of both brotherly countries."
Replying to a question, he said that Pak-Turkey have need to strengthen the ties between the business communities and would involves chamber for further enhancing relations in this regard.
Rauf Alam said that leadership of Pakistan-Turkey fully committed for economic growth and generate the economic activities in Pakistan and both sides are business friendly regimes.
Another Business leader, Senior Vice President FPCCI, Zafar Bakhtawari stressed the need for Free Trade Agreement between two brotherly countries for further bilateral trade relations.
He appreciated the voiced raised by Turkish President for the people of Kashmir, who are struggling for their birth right to self determination and freedom from Indian Subjugation.
Zafar Bakhtawari strongly criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for boycotting the Turkish President address in joint session of Parliament.
