The world leading CNG equipment manufacturer Safe s.r.l. Italy has held discussions with Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) for approval of new equipment and establishment of CNG equipment assembly plant in Pakistan.
This was stated by a Senior Executive of Safe s.r.l. Paolo Guardigli while speaking at a seminar in major breakthrough in the CNG technology here on Tuesday.
"We have received a very positive response from Pakistani authorities in this regard. Pakistan is an important country for us as we have a large number of CNG stations using plants of our company", he said.
He pointed out that Pakistan was keen to invite foreign companies to start local manufacturing of the CNG kits and equipment. "We are ready to start assembly of entire CNG equipment and machinery in Pakistan under joint venture and interested to transfer of technology," Guardigli said.
