Today, the term Islam is linked with violence, oppression and backwardness. The creation of this perception is the sole responsibility of the government and media. The government is the vanguard of this re-branding campaign which can be seen from the evil ideology speech made by Tony Blair.
This speech in all intent and purposes is not to encourage dialogue or debate but to stifle and silence the Muslims. He said the Islamists want a Taleban style regime, they want to take the region back in history, and they want to oppress women.Why would Muslims want this? It already exists. The Muslim world is plagued with dictators who are oppressive, who torture political dissidents, and usurp the wealth of the people.
Support of tyrants is evident for all of us to see. Islam is not the doctrine which encourages this. It is quite frankly, Western inspired regimes who are the bedrock of the problem. These people and the systems in the Muslim world are not based on Islam they are based on Western support. The reason the Muslim world is backward is because the institutions are corrupt, the government funding is non-existent due to corporate influences.
In fact the education systems in the Muslim world are not even based on Islam; they are based on the European models and ideals. How does one expect to progress when the real problem is not scrutinised and the people who live in them lands are not allowed to choose there own political destiny. Muslims are active throughout the world to work to revive the lands.
However, the torture chambers of Tashkent through to Cairo hinder them. And here, the twisted logic of Tony Blair has influenced the masses, making them silent before the government.
The Public should not be fooled.
The Muslims are not to be blamed for the problems in the Muslims world. The problem is not Islam because it is non-existent (except for the nominal value in a constitution and token aspects of Islam that are applied), in government, in any shape or form. The public should really stop and question the radical ambitions of the government.
The blurring of the line between Islam and violence has to be re-assessed as the majority of the Islamic call is non-violent and political in nature only then can the debate move forward. It is despite this propaganda from the ideological nations of the West is a leading Islamic Polictical Party holding a national conference that will present Islam and Caliphate in its true light and address the many misconceptions portrayed such as Islam and Women, Technology, Non Muslims etc.
It is important to understand why it is that the idea of the Caliphate is attacked? Fundamentally this can be attributed to the fact that it is known that the Caliphate will unite the Muslims and as this would be against the interests of the West it is attacked.
As Muslims this is an attack on the very thing that will unite our many lands, lands that were divided after the destruction of the Uthmani Khilafah by the Western Colonisation, which remains in our lands to this day in its many forms.
Whether this is through the physical occupation, support for despotic rulers, cultural invasion of non Islamic thoughts, economic hegemony etc.
