The second annual International Cricket Council awards will be held in Sydney on October 11, the ICC announced here on Friday. The inaugural event was held last year in London with the cream of world cricketers attending the gala ceremony.
India's Rahul Dravid was named Player of the Year with England's Andrew Flintoff elected ODI player of the year. There will also be awards for Test Team of the Year, ODI team of the year and Emerging Player of the Year.
The announcement was made by the ICC meeting at their new headquarters in Dubal having moved there from London.
