The US Agriculture Department's Commodity Credit Corporation announced the following world market prices of milled and rough rice. The data is adjusted for US milling yields and location, and the resulting marketing loan gain (MLG) and loan deficiency payment (LDP) rates applicable to the 2005 crop.
Rough rice prices decreased by $0.07 per cwt for long grain and $0.06 for medium and short grain. Loan rates increased by corresponding amounts.
