Firstly, I thank God Almighty for giving us the strength to contribute our penny worth for this beloved country through organisation of international events such as ITCN Asia, now, for the 5th consecutive year.
By the grace of Almighty, ITCN Asia has been growing bigger with each passing year and has now become the focal point for the major IT related activities in Pakistan where all the top-notch IT players look forward to participate.
The event attracts a large number of VIPs, diplomats, foreign delegates, federal & provincial ministers, provincial governors, high-ranking military officials, CEO's and IT professionals from the largest IT firms of Pakistan. More than 300 foreign delegates from China, France, USA, Singapore, India and Bahrain, who visit Pakistan during this event to evaluate the business opportunities this country offers and, Alhamdolillah, we have been able to mobilise a number of initiatives that have now become a key component of IT revolution in Pakistan through these events.
This year we are also organising the ICIT 2005 Conference simultaneously with the Exhibition, which would be a platform where investors, decision makers, managers and other stake holders in the IT & Telecom sectors of Pakistan would exchange views and form strategies to realise the IT agenda in the post WTO scenario.
The prominent speakers from the Industry would highlight the key issues and opportunities that are there to avail. The ICIT 2005 Conference will incorporate focused sessions on Enterprise & Network Management, Call Centers, Telecommunications and E-Banking.
I deeply appreciate the support of the Ministry of Privatisation & Investment; Ministry of IT & Telecom; Pakistan Software Export Board, Government of Pakistan and all the government departments who have greatly contributed in organising ITCN Asia 2005 and making it a grand success.
I graciously welcome the foreign and local delegates, investors, entrepreneurs, exhibitors and visitors at ITCN Asia Exhibition and ICIT 2005 Conference. I assure full co-operation and support from the organisers to all of you and am confident that your visit will be productive and worthwhile.
Look forward to welcoming you at ITCN Asia and ICIT 2005!
