ISLAMABAD: Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi Monday informed the National Assembly that none of the top government officials were removed from Board of Directors (BoD) of Interstate Gas Systems (Pvt.) Limited rather two members had completed their three-year term.
Responding to a calling attention notice raised by Syed Naveed Qamar and others regarding removal of top government officials from the BoD of Interstate Gas System (Pvt) Limited, the minister said one of board member Zubair Lodhi had already tendered his resignation but he was asked to continue till completion of three-year term.
He said another member Shahzad Ali Khan started levelling false allegation when his term was not extended for next three years.
The minister said Shahzad Ali Khan attended 36 meetings of the BoD and had never raised any objection.
