Workers of printing and processing industry have withdrawn the call for protest and hunger strike after an agreement inked between Labour Organisations and All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association (APTPMA). According to the agreement, processing mill owners will give increase of Rs 500 in their workers' salary in addition to the issuance of social security, attendance and EOBI cards. The agreement was signed here with the direct involvement of labour welfare department.
