A bomb exploded near a police station and unidentified men fired several rockets at paramilitary forces on Saturday in Balochistan, officials said on Sunday. There were no casualties reported in either incident, officials said. A home-made bomb exploded near the boundary wall of a railway police station late Saturday in Muchh town, 70 kilometres south of Quetta, railway police official Tariq Manzoor told AFP.
The explosion damaged the outer wall slightly, he said.
Separately, nine rockets were fired at paramilitary forces deployed in towns of Mund, close to Pakistan-Iran border and Kohlu, a paramilitary official told AFP.
Security forces returned fire but there were no reports of casualties, the official said, requesting anonymity.
The Balochistan Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the attacks in a telephone call overnight to the Press Club in Quetta.
