Chief Minister Punjab, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi called on Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Friday and discussed with him the ongoing development projects and law and order situation in Punjab province. The chief minister lauded the efforts of the Prime Minister and the government for achieving 8.35 percent economic growth and the steps taken for the welfare of people. Shaukat Aziz assured Pervaiz Elahi that the federal government would extend all possible assistance and support to the province in accelerating the pace of development.
