Seven people were killed in latest violence in occupied Kashmir, police said on Tuesday. In Baramulla district, unidentified men abducted a woman and hanged her while in Poonch district, a policeman was killed, a police spokesman said. In other violence, unidentified gunmen barged into homes of three persons in Pulwama district and opened fire, wounding them. A member of a village defence committee was shot dead and his mother wounded in Doda district, the police spokesman said.
Troops shot dead four suspected freedom fighters in three clashes in southern occupied Kashmir, police said.
