The Karachi Port handled 65,224 tonnes of cargo including 54,860 tonnes import and 10,364 tonnes export cargo including 1,551 containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday. The cargo comprised of 28,994 tonnes dry cargo including 16,936 tonnes general cargo; 12,058 tonnes bulk cargo and 36,230 tonnes oil/Liquid cargo. Four ships namely Kota Mesra, Lalazar, Silver River and Emblem sailed out to sea during the report period. Three vessels viz Global Prosperity, Sea Ranger and Ever Guard are currently at the berths. MV Vonuzs is expected to sail on Thursday.
Six vessels viz Gagarmayang, Rising One, MT Shalamar, Eax Sanctity, Apl Pusan and Kota Tabah due to arrive on Tuesday, while nine ships namely Shina, YM Moon, Hyundai Stride, Thor Captain, Iran Shahryar, Sagamore, Indohans Floree, Pos Brave and Ping Jiang are due to arrive on Wednesday.
The cargo comprised of 11,343 tonnes edible oil; 5,246 tonnes diesel oil; 14,290 tonnes iron ore; 595 tonnes sulphur and 22,542 tonnes containerised cargo.
Container vessel San Clemente, oil tanker Al-Maqwa and bulk cargo carrier Iran Gheyamat sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while another ship Rasm-M is expected to sail on Tuesday.
MV Great Wel is currently at the outer anchorage.

Five vessels viz MV Gao Zhou, MT Stolt Courage, Koriana, Contship Indigo and Asia Gyro with iron ore, HSD oil, containers and chemicals due to arrive on Wednesday.
