Falling trend persisted on the forward cottonseed oilcake market on Saturday as major participants kept on the sideline in the absence of leading factors, dealers said. The May vaida commenced with no change at Rs 444.00 and that proved to be day's best at the same level. In the process of trading, it lost rupee one to be day's lowest at Rs 443.00 and closing was also seen at the same level, they added. The next July vaida opened with 30 paisa fall at Rs 425.00 and this proved to be day's bottom and market also closed at the same level. During the day, it picked up Rupees two to be day's highest at Rs 427.00, dealers said.
