SARGODHA: Pakistan Muslim League-N district Sargodha has finalized 21 names of the candidates for the special seats of District Council Sargodha.
Party spokesman said on Monday that the names were finalized in a meeting held at Circuit House Lahore presided over by Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab, Zeeshan Rafique while the district president Sargodha PML-N Ch. Shahnawaz Ranjha and elected representatives of local bodies of the district were also present.
With the consultation of district organization, Zeeshan Rafique finalized the names of 21 candidates for special seats including 11 women, 5 minorities, 3 Kissan (farmers), 1 Technocrat and 1 for the youth seat.
The women candidates are Gulshan Sherazi, Javeria Batool, Qamer un Nisa, Naziraan Younas, Ruqqia Bibi, Rozeena Kazmi, Ameer Bibi, Maqbool Yaseen, Asia Nazir, Maqssooda Begum and Rashida Parveen.
The minorities' candidates are Qaiser Zia, Sarwar Maseeh, Noureen Ayub, Mehmood Maseeh and Iqbal Maseeh, similarly Kiasan (Farmer) candidates are Ali Zul Qarnain, Mehr Ghulam Abbas and Rana Ghulam Akber.
While the names of Barrister Taimour Ali Khan and Rai Ali Abdullah Bhatti were finalized for the seats of Technocrat and Youth members respectively.
The election on special seats will be held on September 1,2016.
