Kangana Ranaut increased her film fee following the super hit "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" and became the highest paid actress, but according to reports now the “Bajirao Mastani” actress Deepika Padukone has taken over the place to become the ‘queen of the Bollywood industry’.
Deepika has apparently hiked her fee and dethroned Kangana from the highest paid actress' post. Deepika, who is collaborating with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the third time, has hiked her fee for the period drama "Padmavati," Bollywood Life reported.
In past Kangana's sister Rangoli revealed that she charged Rs11 crore for the movies she signed last year. The "Bajirao Mastani" actress earlier used to charge approximately Rs8-9 crore per movie. However, Deepika has now increased her fee by a few crore and for "Padmavati" she is charging about Rs12-15 crore, which makes her the highest paid Bollywood actress.
Not only in the actresses' league, Deepika is also giving a tough competition to Bollywood actors who charge less than Rs10-12 crore a film.
Meanwhile, the top highest paid actresses list also includes Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma and Sonam Kapoor. However, Deepika is the queen of the film industry with the highest paid Bollywood actress tag.
