Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan have always been appreciated for their onscreen chemistry especially in Pakistani drama series ‘Humsafar’. However, few people think that both have zero chemistry when it comes to romance.
‘Humsafar’ that aired on Pakistani TV in 2011 made Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan commonly recognized names on displaying romance as married couple Ashar and Khirad. Director Sarmad Khoosat, was in any case, worried over their absence of communication on the show's set and thought the drama would tank due to their ‘zero chemistry’.
In a recent interview, Mahira Khan revealed, “The biggest fear of our director was that the show will tank, because according to him, Fawad and I had zero chemistry. He would always be telling us to rehearse more, to at least hold hands,” local media reported.
"But when the show went on air, our director called us and said, 'Both of you are magic'," she added. According to Mahira, who would be seen next in Shahrukh Khan’s 'Raaes' also said that the reason behind the charm of their pairing is the trust the two actors have in each other.
"We don't get chemistry. We never did. What we had was the right attitude and we trusted each other," she said.
‘Humsafar’ depicted the enthusiastic voyage of Ashar and Khirad, who fell in love after getting married. The show also went on-air in India and received immense love from the Indian audience.
