India's top batsman and Test skipper Virat Kohli shared trade secrets behind his success as a modern batting great in the last few years.
“How staying healthy helped me (in cricket) was that being physically active and healthy helps you think better, helps you make better decisions,” revealed Kohli, as reported by local media reports .
“It is not the thing that many people understand but that is the fact. Why do we train just before we go for a game because it releases positive endorphins inside your body, it helps you think better, it helps you feel good about yourself, it helps you feel positive.”
Kohli’s fitness has been exemplary over the last few seasons, and has played a key role in winning numerous accolades for the batting maestro in the last few years.
Kohli has been India’s standout performer since his debut for India in 2008. Since his debut, this champion batsman has come a long way and has changed a lot of numbers in the record books. He is also the leading run scorer in IPL history with 4110 runs to his credit.
