ISLAMABAD: Senior Analyst Hassan Askari Rizvi said on Friday that getting membership of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is an important achievement of Pakistan's successful foreign policy.
While Talking to private news channel, he said that after getting membership of SCO, Pakistan would have an international forum through which it could carry forward its diplomacy.
He said that "the real challenge is that to what extent, Pakistan can take advantage of SCO. I hope that Pakistan will take advantage of SCO and could create support of member countries".
Furthermore, the SCO operates on a consensus basis, which facilitates the member states to harmonise their policies by rising above their bilateral differences, he said.
