imageMark Zuckerberg, the famous creator of world’s largest social media platform Facebook, seems to be worried about being spied on.

Well who isn’t in this age of privacy breaching and hacking, but Zuckerberg went a step further when it was found that he taped-over his camera and microphone jack , which is considered a sign that someone is concerned, about his privacy.

This was revealed in an image posted by Mark Zuckerberg, which was meant to celebrate Instagram milestone, the Facebook-owned photo-sharing app has topped 500 million active users. The image’s background shows a desk with a laptop that sports a couple of non-standard features.

imageLook closer, one can spot Zuckerberg’s camera and the audio jack on his Macbook are both covered with pieces of tape, as was sound by one Twitter user ‘Chris Olson.’

As per New York Times, one may think that Zuckerberg is being paranoid. However, security experts supported the taping, giving a few good reasons. Firstly, Mark Zuckerberg is a high-value target.

“I think Zuckerberg is sensible to take these precautions,” said Graham Cluley, an online security expert and consultant. “As well as intelligence agencies and conventional online criminals who might be interested in targeting his billions, there are no doubt plenty of mischievous hackers who would find it amusing to spy upon such a high-profile figure.”

Secondly, the covering photo, video and audio portals with simple tape is just your basic and cheap security measures. And last but not the least, Zuckerberg himself has been a victim of hacks, so it seems well natural to take extra security measure.
