Polish May jobless rate falls to 9.1pc

WARSAW: Poland's registered unemployment rate fell to 9.1 percent in May from 9.5 percent in April, the state statistics office said on Thursday.

Analysts polled by Reuters had expected the rate at 9.1 percent.

The statistics office said the number of registered unemployed stood at 1.457 million last month.
