In order to ensure smooth electricity supply to Railway Colony, Pakistan Railways (PR) has laid a new underground cable from Railway Power House to Railway Colony.
PR General Manager (Operations) Aurangzeb Khan at a function inaugurated power supply through this new cable, says a PR spokesman here on Saturday.
Meanwhile, PR has announced that 127-Up Mehar Express will now have a two-minute stoppage at 'Budh' Railway station. This decision has been taken on experimental basis for three months only.
Similarly PR administration has also announced that 101-Up/102-Down (Subuk Raftar), 103-Up/104-Down (Subuk Kharam) and 105-Up/106-Down Rawal Express would have now two-minute stoppage at Chaklala Railway station.
