imageISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Privatization and Chairman Privatization Commission, Muhammad Zubair Monday said democracy is the only solution to masses problems and it has also been manifested in the recent Gallup survey.

"Gallup Survey has revealed this reality and upheld that 84 percent people were in favor of democracy in the country," he said in a private news channel program.

The minister said the majority of people were asserting that the investigation on Panama Papers should not be carried out from the Prime Minister because his name was not mentioned in Panama Papers.

He said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan had concealed his off-shore company. Imran Khan had turned his black money into white in the regime of former president Pervez Musharraf.

Muhammad Zubair said the accountability should be conducted against all those who were involved in corruption.

He said if Pakistan People's Party stand with PTI on issues then PTI would get political millage but not PPP, adding that PPP political popularity graph has already declined.

Replying to a question, he said, after Panama Papers issue, the nation has voted to PML-N candidates in bye-elections due to its performance and policies. He expressed hope that PML-N would also be victorious in Azad Jammu and Kashmir's upcoming general elections.
