The Indian High Commission has released a list of visas saying that those were ready and could be collected forthwith.
In an announcement made here on Friday, the High Commission said the collections could be made on any working day between 10 am to 5 pm from its Visa Office here.
The Consular Division said the need to make the request had arisen from reports that the Visa section was inaccessible through telephone and applicants were unable to ascertain the status of their applications.
It also asked the "applicants who desire to check the status of their applications may write to the Visa Officer of the Indian High Commission in the Diplomatic Enclave, Islamabad along with a stamped self-addressed envelope or post card. The inquiry might also indicate whether the applicant wished the passport to be returned by a courier COD".
