Five killed, 22 injured as two buses collide

Five persons were killed while 22 others received injuries in a collision between two buses near Adda Pakhi More on Burewala Road on Sunday.
According to police, the air-conditioned bus No LR 4347, while going from Vehari to Lahore, collided with another speeding bus No QAJ 3849 coming from opposite direction.
As a result, bus driver Nawaz Ahmad and two unidentified passengers died on the spot.
The injured were rushed to hospital where Abdul Razaq and Muhammad Hussain succumbed to their injuries.
The injured included Nasreen, Hafiz Bibi, Muhammad Sharif, Khizar Hayat, Muhammad Abbas, Rana Faryad, Muhammad Atif, Azhar Mahmood, Basa Bibi, Sheikh Amjad, Sheikh Naveed, Atif, Muhammad Sadiq, Allah Ditta, Muhammad Yar, Mastri Mahmood, Muhammad Saqib, bus driver Billa, Faqir Hussain and Rashid Ahmad.
