President General Pervez Musharraf greeted his Eritrea's counterpart Issaias Afwerki, on the independence day of Republic of Eritrea falling on May 24.
In his greetings message President Musharraf said, "Excellency it gives me immense pleasure to convey on behalf of the Republic of Pakistan as well as my own behalf, my warm greetings and felicitations to your excellency and the people of the state of Eritrea on the independence day of Eritrea falling on 24 May.
I wish your excellency, good health, long life, happiness and ever growing progress and prosperity to the people of the state of Eritrea.
Please accept, excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration."
Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali felicitated President of Eritrea on the National Day of Republic of Eritrea.
In his message Premier Jamali said, "Excellency, I wish to convey on behalf of the government and the people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and on my own behalf our felicitations to you and the people of Eritrea on the Independence Day of Eritrea.
Pakistan and Eritrea, have maintained very warm and cordial relations over the years. I look forward to expand existing friendship and co-operative relations between our two countries.
I wish your excellency good health, long life and prosperity for the people of the state of Eritrea.
